Innovation is clearly written into the genes of OneLife. Since its rebranding in 2016, this life-assurance specialist has repeatedly performed digital feats to contribute genuine added value to its partners and its staff in-house. After launching a number of digital initiatives, particularly a mobile application in October 2016, and entering into partnership with a Luxembourg RegTech, announced at ICT Spring, Mark Stevens’s teams held the first Digital Days event on 14 and 15 June.
As it happens, it was Marc Stevens, OneLife’s CEO, who opened this pioneering event held for the company’s 150 employees: “The move towards digital technology is one of our three priorities for 2017. What is at stake, though, is not just technology, but human beings. What are the implications for us as an insurer? How will these new tools influence our working practices?”. Through these two days, all the company’s departments had the opportunity of discovering the latest technological innovations which will transform their daily lives – or are already doing so. “These Digital Days are designed to raise our employees’ awareness of what the digital world of tomorrow will be like, and its major impact on the job market,” added Marc Stevens.

For the CEO and Christophe Regnault, the Digital Marketing Manager, the move to digital technology must involve a radical change of culture and of mindset. “It is a genuine, digitally-focused, company-wide project, backed by our executive committee! This initiative is also the outcome of close coordination among many of the company’s departments: Marketing, Communication, IT, HR, Facilities, etc.…” emphasised Christophe Regnault, adding: “From theory through to practical application in our processes and our business, our staff have benefited from the expertise of numerous partners, particularly Vigo Universal, with a clear vision of the technologies which are already shaping our future. This therefore positions OneLife as a genuine digital-technology leader in the radically-changing life-assurance profession. In practical terms, this involves our placing digital technology in the hands of ALL our staff!”.

The teams are necessarily involved in these far-reaching digital changes, and are committing themselves and contributing to the development of OneLife.
